Golden Retriever Festival Scotland. Hosted by the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland the festival is held at the abandoned home of Dudley Coutts Marjoribanks who bred the first golden retriever. Its one of the happiest places on earth.
World record of 361 Golden Retrievers gather in Scotland to mark 150 years of the breed. The Golden Retriever Club of Scotland is one of 13 UK Breed Clubs as the name suggests we are the only Golden Retriever Club representing Scotland. The golden retriever and its history were feted by 222 goldens and their masters who gathered from around the globe for a celebration in the breeds ancestral Scottish Highlands home in July.
In July 2018 there will be celebrations of 150 years of the Golden Retriever the event will begin Monday 16 th July in and around the villages of Tomich and Cannich.
The festival is run by the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland and held at the ancestral home of the breed.
